Lingerie

I’ve been so looking forward to sharing this post! BEYOND proud of my good friend Paloma Jonas and her girlfriend Whitney Brown on the launch of their gorgeous lingerie line that is… Valentine.

A lover of all things photo, I had to share this super sexy danceteria inspired nightlife lingerie editorial in this months Interview Magazine. It just confirms that I wish I was the age that I am now... but in the late 70's. They had me at high waisted pants and bra tops...

You just can't go wrong with Kiki. Disclaimer, yes this line is expensive... but look how gorgeous it is! Remember what I said about having friends that are major babes? This shoot serves my point, thank you to Miss Kate for a lovely play date of dress up. Now for more...

There is something to be said about simple being sexy. How great does it feel to throw on a tank and some panties and just lounge around? Of course there is a time for fancier underneath attire, but make no mistake about the basics... feeling sexy is also about comfort. This shoot that I photographed is inspired by just that. I am BEYOND thrilled to share this very special post with you. Ladies, this story emphasizes WHY I started this blog, it's WHY I love what a great piece of lingerie can mean. If you are anything like me, I used to think of lace as scratchy, uncomfortable, and to be honest... a little gaudy. However, in recent years I feel as though there has been a renaissance with lace. We are now seeing soft, sexy, uninhibited lace that not only looks amazing, it FEELS amazing.

Hallelujah!

I have always been a fan of Araks Yeramyan's line, it's strong, confident and colorful. My love grew even stronger when I came across her 2012 look book, obsessed. She handed her friends (Michelle Williams, Alexa Chung and Miguel Enamorado to name a few) disposable cameras, along with her latest collection, and said 'have at it!'

Genius.

Cutest idea for a look book ever, you win Araks!
